Adam Short and the super-duper Havanese, Crosby, (currently in Penny Leigh's competition agility class) competed in their very first trial today!!
They ran in Jumpers with Weaves and were awarded first place, a blue ribbon and a perfect score of 100! And Crosby won a toy!
Crosby and Adam had an absolutely flawless run - even the weave poles were perfect. Not only was it a totally clean run, it was FAST! Crosby ran the course in a bit over 25 seconds and had the 5th fastest time in the entire Novice class- that includes the big dogs too!
Adam, Crosby and mommy- Andrea, started training in Intro to Agility last fall at Town and Country and now they have their first blue ribbon!
Thanks Crosby, Adam and Andrea for making Town and Country so proud!
Adam has just completed construction of a small practice teeter for us to use at Town and Country for our beginner dogs. We are looking forward to using that. And I know the beginner dogs are grateful. THANKS, ADAM!
