PET INSURANCE

Advanced technology has help the veterinary profession offer treatments that can save pets' lives as well as help them live longer, healthier lives. Unfortunately, for the pet owner, these treatments are not inexpensive.

Fortunately, Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) allows you to provide your pet with the best in medical care without having to worry as much about the cost. Policy coverage includes injuries from accidents, poisonings, and illnesses (including cancer).

Also, TruPanion Pet insurance is another form of pet insurance for cats and dogs starting at 8 weeks of age.

If you have any questions about pet insurance, please call us at Town and Country (919-363-6363).

PET SELECTION

All puppies and kittens are adorable. They are lovable and perfect. However, you must consider certain factors before choosing a pet. What we don't always foresee is how big they will be as adults, the amount of exercise they will require, their inherent temperament, the amount of grooming required, suitability for children or apartment living, etc.

Admittedly, the emotional and financial investment you make in a pet will be enjoyed for years and years to come. Choosing the right pet for your family is a very important decision. Please let us let us help you make a truly compatible match, so you and your pet can enjoy a long and loving relationship. Call us at 363-6363 to set up an appointment!

AKC-CAR MICROCHIPPING

The AKC-CAR chip allows vets and shelters to find your pet in the event he or she gets lost.

The procedure is simple. The veterinarian injects the microchip under your pet’s skin between the shoulder blades. The chip’s unique identification number is registered with the AKC Companion Animal Recovery System. With the microchip, you'll never lose your pet!

For your pet, the procedure is quick, painless (no sedation is necessary) and can be done during a regular office visit, or if you prefer, during most surgical procedures.

Your pet may lose collars and tags, and ID tattoos can blur or fade over time. But with the new AKC-CAR, your pet's vital information is permanent and can never be altered.
